Caramel Icing

1 stick butter
1/2 box brown sugar
Boil for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add 1/4 cup evaporated milk.
Return to boil.
Add:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix well.
Excellent when you add 1 cup toasted chopped pecans and 1 cup toasted coconut.
Pour over this cake. Or, omit the coconut and pour over these.
